The Adventure: This ~4-mile hike in the Palos Trail System winds through dense hardwood forests in Chicago’s southwest suburbs. The hilliest hiking you’ll find in and around Chicago, this pristine forest area is loved for its remote feel that’s only a stone’s throw from the city. We’ll take on the Purple Loop and a short section of the Orange Loop. Post-hike we’ll grab a beer on the patio at Imperial Oak Brewing and enjoy local eats at the taproom from Pizza 750.
Hike Difficulty: Moderate – Ideal for active hikers, these hikes feature more rolling hills and occasional rocky or root-filled sections of the trail.
Hike Distance: ~4 miles | Drive Time: 45 minutes (one way)
Pickup / Dropoff: This trip leaves from / returns to Bitter Pops in Lakeview (map here). Limited metered street parking is available.

Participation Waiver: All attendees must sign the Trail to Taproom participation waiver before the event starts.
